2nd Annual Stanford Cardiothoracic Surgery Research Symposium

The Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is pleased to announce its 2nd Annual Research Symposium, to be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 PM at the Li Ka Shing Center (LKSC).

This event will bring together Stanford-affiliated researchers in cardiothoracic surgery and cardiovascular medicine—including faculty, fellows, residents, postdoctoral scholars, students, and research associates—to share the latest science in the field.  This symposium provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your cardiovascular research, network with colleagues, and attend lectures from distinguished speakers. 

Additionally, we invite all Stanford cardiothoracic surgery-affiliated researchers —including faculty, fellows, residents, postdoctoral scholars, students, and research associates — to submit abstracts for consideration for presentation. Learn more.
