Victor Ching, Founder and CEO of Miso, will discuss the evolution of one of Korea’s largest home services platforms, which has connected over 1.5 million households with more than 100,000 service providers and facilitated over 13 million bookings.
He will share the origin story of Miso, including how the company identified and scaled opportunities in the on-demand home services market, and how it grew into a platform often described as the “Amazon of home services” in Korea. Victor will cover the company’s fundraising journey, operational challenges, and key decisions that enabled large-scale growth to over $1.5 billion in transaction volume. He’ll also share his perspectives on the Korean startup ecosystem and opportunities for future global expansion of home service platforms.
The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Richard Dasher, Director of the US-Asia Technology Management Center.
