The 'Rains' apartments are located conveniently and are known as being housed by fun and social students forming a small community on their own.The apartment overlooks a nice grassy field with trees and is not next to a road. Plenty of BBQ opportunities out front!

Available from June 6 (earliest) through September 18 (latest).
Rent is $1100
Deposit is $300,- refunded at end of lease.

You need to be Stanford affiliated. I.e. one of the activities below:

• Graduate (summer) student
• Teaching
• Attending an un-housed conference at Stanford
• Doing research
• Providing administration services
• Traveling to be near a minor child who will be attending a housed summer camp on the Stanford campus

Thus since this is through official housing, you get all the benefits of Stanford (free repairs, support and guaranteed that I am a student with good intentions, renting it out to you for the normal (subsidized) rent).
