Within biking distance of the San Antonio shopping center in Mountain View (featuring a variety of grocery stores and Target), downtown Palo Alto and Mountain View, and several CalTrain stations. Within walking distance to Peet's coffee and Piazza's in Midtown. The home is ideally located for someone who works/studies at Stanford or in the surrounding community.
The available room gets lots of natural light, features lots of storage, and fits a full-sized bed and other furniture comfortably (please see pictures). The bedroom can come unfurnished or furnished for a small price. The home is large and features an in-home washer and dryer; kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, stove, oven, and your own dedicated food storage space; a dining area; and two living rooms. These common spaces are furnished. You would share a bathroom with one other housemate. Outdoors, there is a patio with a grill in the backyard, an orange tree in the front yard, shed storage, and free street parking if you have a car. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and quaint. The lease unfortunately does not allow for pets.
Move-in date is June 1, but can be sooner. You would be taking over the lease for me and there is a small application fee payable to the rental company. The lease ends 8/31/2020, and you have an option to renew. Security deposit is $1125 and monthly rent is $1215 (we pay the rent with one check each month). Utilities include electric and internet, and typically cost no more than $100 per month, with electricity being a bit more in the winter months.
You would be living with three other individuals (one per room), whom are all Stanford affiliates. Three of the roommates (including myself) are women and the fourth roommate is a man. Two of the roommates have been out of the home, living with family elsewhere in the world, for the entirety of the pandemic and the two remaining roommates have been strictly adhering to social distancing guidelines.
