The room has a large window, carpet floor and a very spacious built-in closet. If interested, you can purchase all furniture (bed, 2 nightstands, desk and chair) from my current roommate for a good price.

The room is part of a sunny 2-bedroom apartment, including a spacious living+dining room with hardwood floors and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, all kinds of cooking+baking equipment).
From your room you have direct access to the beautiful backyard in which I try to grow some vegetables and fruits. It is perfect for having breakfast on the weekends or enjoying a drink after work.

In the apartment complex there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers as well as a public pool. Parking is also available on site.

The total rent per month is circa $1450 (depending on utilities) and includes all expenses (electricity, water, wifi internet).

Location:

The apartment is part of a friendly apartment complex at Ventura Avenue, close to California Avenue (Caltrain station).
Due to the central location you only need around 15min by bike to Stanford, downtown Palo Alto or San Antonio Shopping Center.
It is only a 5min walk to El Camino Real with a Starbucks, several restaurants and a laundromat (with front loader machines). A Grocery Outlet is only a 10 minute walk away.

About me:
I am a chemical biology postdoc and Stanford and originally from Germany. I have been happily living in this apartment for a year and now that my roommate is leaving Stanford, I am looking for a new roommate (male or female). I am a clean person and looking for somebody in their mid-20s to mid-30s who is clean as well. Outside of work you can find me cooking/baking or exploring the Bay Area by bike.
