Starting September 1 (or as early as mid-August), I’ll be moving out of my 2BR/1BA College Terrace apartment, and am looking a clean, non-smoking gal to replace me. A couple of additional details:

The apartment is a spacious spot in a quiet neighborhood, but is still just a short walk from the bars/restaurants/train station on California Avenue, and only a 6-minute bike ride from the Knight Center. The room itself will be empty, but the rest of the house is fully furnished. It’s on the second (top) floor of a 3-unit building, and the rent is $1150 per month + utilities. There is a washer/dryer available on site, and plenty of parking (including our own covered space). The apartment has hardwood floors, a private balcony, and gets a lot of sunlight. Your room also has an air conditioning unit.

The other gal living there, Kate, is awesome. She works for the Stanford School of Education, and is just about as pleasant, easy and respectful a roommate as you could hope for. She was happy to let me host dinners at our place, but generally the apartment was somewhere to rest rather than party – I think she’d like to maintain that vibe.

Overall, I’m sad to leave both the apartment and roomie. Send me an email if you’d like to know more; I have pictures, too.
