I'm a Stanford alum based in Palo Alto. My family home has 1 room available in a beautiful 3bedroom 2.5bath house in Downtown Palo Alto (1 block from University Avenue restaurants, Whole Foods, 5 min walk to Palo Alto Caltrain, and short bike ride to Stanford).
One room is occupied by a visiting genomics researcher at Stanford (female) who is from Germany, and another room is owner-occupied part-time. The owner is in India for 6 months of the year.
Available: Starting as early as August 1 (for 4-12 months)
Rent: $2,100/month
Furnishing: Fully furnished
2 rooms share 1.5 bathrooms (you'd be sharing the 1.5 bathrooms with the genomics researcher)
House features: The house has central AC, in-unit laundry, a modern kitchen, TVs in every room, a large living room, and a great backyard with a gazebo, golf net, and fruit trees.
We’re looking for a clean, respectful tenant—ideally a Stanford grad student, visiting scholar, or professional—interested in a peaceful, high-quality living space.
