I am looking for a roommate to share half of a 2 bdr/1 bath in a fourplex in mountain view. I've lived here for four years. My previous roommate has been here for 2 years, but is allergic to cats and has finally had enough!

The entire apartment is furnished (including a washer/dryer), save for the empty bedroom. It also has a private patio (15 x 15) that I use to BBQ (and in the past to grow herbs and vegetables), and a garage. Street parking is free and we are on a quiet and safe street. Beyond the private patio, there is also a backyard shared with 3 other apartments. I have two cats, so you have to be okay with pets, but no more pets are allowed.

The bedroom itself is 10 x 15 with a closet. I've attached a photo of my bedroom so you can get a sense of the space. Limited photos here, so please email if you'd like to see more! In the photo is a queen bed on a massive frame/box spring. I currently have that bed, my desk, a cat tree and ikea shelving with no problem. With a full bed the bedroom would be even roomier. The whole apartment is about 1000 square feet.

Location: Within one mile of Castro St. In case you are new to the area, Castro is Mountain View's main downtown street, with all sorts of shops, restaurants, bars, and other services. San Antonio Shopping Center (Trader Jos, Sprouts, Safeway, Whole Foods, Milk Pail Market (an awesome local market)) all within 1 mile. Stanford University is 5 miles away. I bike to Stanford each day (about 30 minutes). It's a nice and easy bike ride on (mostly) small side streets. Caltrain (Mountain View and San Antonio) are both 1.5 miles away as well.

The room is $1600 + split the electricity/internet (that'd be about an extra $75/month).
