Spacious studio in a separate building from the main house with private entrance is available for single occupancy. Quiet neighborhood along University Avenue, just blocks away from Ikea store. Approximately 10 mins drive or 20 mins biking distance from Stanford. Landlord is an elderly couple staying in the main house. Stanford affiliates preferred. More detail about the studio:

• Fully furnished (Twin-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, TV, sofa, working table and chair, coffee table, dining table)
• Kitchen with stove and large fridge
• Bathroom with bathtub and water heater
• Washing machine and dryer
• Wired internet (LAN connected to the central COMCAST modem at the main house) and utility included
• Parking space is available inside the gated front yard (electronically controlled) if you are driving
• Bonus: beautiful garden and lovely dogs =)

Requirement:

• Minimum one year lease
• For single occupancy only
• One month security deposit

Note: this house is on the east side of 101 highway (East Palo Alto neighborhood), but it is on the safe side of EPA. I have stayed there for close to two years without any incident.
