What it's like to live here:
We're a house of friendly, eclectic, and busy professionals, and we're looking for someone interesting and friendly to join us! If the idea of well-chosen mid-century modern furniture, Whustof knives, Chemex coffee, and friendly evening conversation makes you feel warm and fuzzy, this might be your new spot.
Our style of living is laid back but maintain attention to leaving things tidy for others. We are all busy so we respect everyone's time, privacy, and environment -- but also like to hang out and keep each other company when schedules overlap. (It goes without saying of course that an ideal roommate knows how to be responsible about guests, sensitive to other's needs, and a good communicator. We strive to be that, and hope you would too!)
Now for a couple self introductions:
The first roommate is a 29 yr old female who is a designer at a small startup in Palo Alto. She is often traveling (just recently returned from Australia and Asia), though when she's not busy exploring, you can find her busy with house projects (backyard done, hanging art is next!) or attempting to cook (sometimes not so successfully :().
The second roommate is a 33 yr old male professional who works in human centered design and organizational change. (He's also finishing up his Stanford PhD on the side!) In the off hours, he loves road cycling in the hills of nearby Woodside, having wine and scotch-spurred conversations with friends and roomies, settling in to watch Korean/Chinese dramas, or reading the New Yorker. He loves coffee gadgets and nice kitchenware, and is known for plating his breakfasts with great care.
Sound about right? If so, please email us with your first and last name (so we know it's not spam) and share a little about yourself and why you'd be an exceptional fit -- we're looking forward to meeting you. :)
