We're a couple, (with a couple of medium sized dogs and a baby on the way), looking for someone (couple possible) to share our eichler-esque house. The place hasn't seen very much remodeling, but it is clean, has a good layout, and a central location (Alma and E. Meadow) - it's close to Stanford, Mitchell Park/Library, Outlet Grocery, Shopping, Restaurants/Cafes, Highways, and CalTrain. There's driveway and street parking, no permit is necessary.

The room for rent ($1150/month w/flexible lease) has it's own bathroom and semi-private entrance and side yard, small closet, and also a washer/dryer. You can utilize the washer/dryer exclusively, or if you're comfortable establishing a schedule at your convenience for sharing, we'll reduce the rent ($1025/month).

We're both fairly new transplants to the area, I'm from the Midwest, and my girlfriend is from the South. She's in school heading towards nursing, and working as a nanny, and I'm doing IT development/support. We're friendly, quiet, clean, responsible, non-smokers/hardly-ever-drinkers, and enjoy a pretty healthy lifestyle. Both of us work quite a bit, and when we have some free time on the weekends, we like to spend time exploring the area, launching balls for dogs to retrieve cook-in/dine-out, sleeping, catching a movie, listening/playing some music.

We're looking for a housemate who is clean/tidy, quiet, responsible, non-smoking, hardly-ever-drinker, easy going, picks up after themselves, and employed and/or school full time. Single occupancy preferred, but couples may be okay however the cost would be little bit more, no pets, no overnights.
