I am looking to share a 2b/2ba apartment a couple blocks from San Antonio Road in Mountain View.

The rent is about $1150/month, with additional ~$50 for internet and electricity (varies from month to month). I have the master bedroom, you get the other room that is a bit smaller but you get the bigger bathroom across the room. We will share the kitchen, living room and small patio. The common areas are lightly furnished and your room will be unfurnished.

Neighborhood is safe and a few blocks from Safeway, Walmart, Target and Downtown Mountain View Castro St.

Move-in date is flexible but prefer asap, we will have to renew the lease. it is a monthly lease

Currently, there is 1 cat in the apartment that is somewhat noisy and attention demanding. You don't have to be a pet-lover but you have to tolerate the cat. Definitely no cruelty to it. Additional cats can be considered and discussed, depending on landlord approval, but no dogs are allowed in the complex, due to barking. Other apartments in the complex are pet-free.

I am looking for someone who pays rent on time, keep common areas clean (we can set up cleaning schedule if desired) and is a quiet person. No parties in the apartment please! There is a function room in the complex that you can reserve with management to hold gatherings. No long-term overnight guests preferably. In other words, if you have a friend visiting for a couple days, I am okay with that. If you have a bf/gf who stays over several nights a week, I will eventually mind that. Sorry but this is really important to me as having a third person consistently in the apartment is really awkward.

I am somewhat picky and would really like a housemate whom I can get along with. Ideally, we would be able to tolerate each other's quirks and habits, be up front with issues (no passive-aggressiveness!), and no drama. If there is a problem, we talk about it and resolve it. I respect your privacy and property and will not enter your room or touch your stuff/food unless specifically asked to do so, or previously agreed on, and I expect the same from you.
