A space has opened up in our house! A private bedroom in a newly renovated 6-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom house in Palo Alto is available to rent, for $1250 per month.

Our location:

• 7 minute bike/car ride to University Avenue in Downtown Palo Alto
• 15 minute bike/car ride to Stanford
• 3 minute drive from closest US101 exit
• 10 minute bike ride from Facebook Menlo Park Campus

We are young professionals and Stanford affiliates working in earth science, engineering, chemistry and economics. We are looking for future housemates who are sociable but also respectful of each other's private space. A typical evening at the house includes some of us hanging out in the kitchen-dining area to eat and socialize. We like hosting potlucks and BBQs, whether it's just the 6 of us or a crew of invited friends. On the weekends, many of us are out of the house enjoying what the Bay has to offer, whether that's hiking, biking, concerts, trivia nights, road trips, or softball.

The available bedroom overlooks the backyard lined with redwood trees. The room comfortably fits a full-size bed and has a closet.

House amenities:

• Large common spaces, wooden floors, and a living room with tall ceilings and fireplace. Front and back yard with a deck and grill.
• Open kitchen with dining area and couch / TV alcove.
• In-house washer/dryer.
• Great privacy, house is set back from the street.
• Outdoor storage shed for bikes and larger gear.
• Off-street parking space (located in front of the unit), if you have a car.
• Utilities and internet are split evenly between housemates, in addition to rent.
• No pets, unfortunately.
