Retina screen (broken)

Accidentally closed the lid on a headphone jack, which gave it a little puncture in the lower left hand corner and rendering the left and bottom 1.5cm useless. The rest of the screen periodically glitches and blacks out, and since this happened last quarter I went out and bought an emergency new computer.

Works completely fine when attached to an external monitor! (only the screen is broken). I bought this only last year for ~$1500, and everything else has been working just fine. I brought it in to Apple and they said a replacement for the retina screen would be ~$500, though the entire part (whole detachable retina screen) should only cost about $200 or $300 at most. I was looking into repairing it myself unless someone more technically-adept wants to try.

Asking for $900 and will throw in the monitor and mouse, which would essentially turn this thing into a desktop. Comes with original box, charger, VGA cable and Mac dongle. Willing to negotiate.
