The Situation

One of our roommates is going to grad school and is moving out on June 20th. So we're looking for someone to move into her room any time after that.

The Location

It's a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house in a nice, quiet neighborhood in Mountain View. Walking distance to two parks, and close enough to downtown Castro street to walk to, but not so close that people are stealing our parking spots all the time.

The Bedroom

The bedroom has a private bathroom and a walk in closet. It’is approximately 300 sq feet, not including the bathroom and closet. One of our former roommates had a California king bed, desk, home theater, couch and two bikes in this room comfortably. So it's big. It also has a skylight that you can open and close, and a direct exit to the backyard. The private bathroom is pretty standard, tub/shower and sink. The furniture is 1 year old, and can be sold to the new roommate if desired.

The House

As for the rest of the house, we have 3 other rooms that are much smaller that share the other bathroom. We have a large living room that is mostly empty because none of us have any furniture. We have a dining room table and chairs that came with the house, a couch, and a stripper pole (great core workout!!). We have a large kitchen with a full size washer/dryer, nice backyard w/ patio, front and side yard, and a covered storage area. We have gardeners that come over monthly to take care of all the yard work. We also have free internet from my work, no cable TV. We split other utilities like power, water, trash, etc. It ends up being about $50-$75/person per month.

About Us

As for roommates, we currently have a 33 male, 28 male, and 25 female. The 33m and 28m both work at tech companies here in Mtn View, and the 25f works at another tech company in San Bruno. We are fun but respectful of everyone's space. The 33m has a gf who comes over sometimes but usually stays in his room. The 25f is either cooking, studying or reading in her room, so does the 28m. We don't have to be best friends, but it would be nice to be able to come home and catch up with each other occasionally. Also, If you'd like to hang out, we like to go out sometimes on the weekends and you'd be welcome to join us. But if you just want to do your own thing that's fine too.

About You

As for who we're looking for, ideally you'd be in your 20s or early 30s, student or young professional, male or female, fun, responsible, easy to get along with, and looking for a place for more than 6 months. Would prefer someone who doesn't smoke, doesn't drink heavily or do drugs, doesn't want to throw parties or large gathering at the house. Also no pets allowed.
