We want you to live with us! Who will fit in well in our house? Kind, friendly, active young professionals or grad students, people who are generally open and curious, and enjoy collaborative house dinners.
The House: 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, massive kitchen, and gasp is that a gas stove you see?! heck yeah, that's a gas stove!, 2 fridges/freezers, living room, formal dining room, a nice backyard with a firepit, deck and 2 bbq's, and a garage that is currently used for projects and storage. 7 might seem like a lot of folks in one house, but because all the roommates are busy people who travel a lot or stay with significant others, there are rarely more than a few people in the house at the same time.
The Location: Kitty corner to Piazza's, a fancy grocery store that stocks everything you might need to make dinner, a 10 minute drive from campus, 4 minute drive to the Caltrain stop at San Antonio and about 3 minutes from the 101 onramp.
The Room: it's enormous. The bathroom is private, accessed via a pocket sliding door, has two sinks, tons of storage, and a shower. The room has 2 closets, one of which is a walk-in. Seriously, this room is probably bigger than what you need, but you'll love the space.
The People: You won't find a better group of roommates. An active, outdoorsy, intellectually curious group - currently 3 males and 4 females. Here's a nice sampling. . .
Mr. M -- 28, engineer working in solar, from Washington state, rides his bike everywhere, prefers you back up an argument with data, loves playing squash at Stanford and would be delighted if you joined him in a P90X workout. Will eat your leftovers if you forget about them.
Dr. K -- 28, phd data scientist in healthcare, rock climbs, surfs, splits her time between Palo Alto and SF. Can likely outdrink you due to her hearty Bulgarian genes.
Ms. N -- 23, lawyer-neuroscientist, early-morning jogger and late-night Palo Alto Adult League soccer champ, rides ponies and understands gifs and emojis better than the old folks. Still in mourning that we can't have a kitty.
(sadly) no pets allowed, no smokers, and no jerks.
