The cottage comes unfurnished, and sits behind the main house (where the owners and their children live). One huge room easily serves as living room, dining room, and office, with hardwood floors and wood panelling. All the wood makes the cottage look like a vacation cabin. Full kitchen, with side-by-side refrigerator, large oven and stove with overhead vent, garbage disposal, lots of cabinet space, and in-kitchen bar. Very-large mirrored closet big enough for two. The bathroom has a large shower and lots of room. There is a washer/dryer combo in the linen closet. Small, bright bedroom with carpet. Heat and hot water are gas, all else electric.

Large windows look out over the creek, where deer and ducks frequent. Trees surround the property, giving you the feeling of being out in the country (with the convenience of being in town). And you can hear the creek running year round.

Eight miles from Stanford, along the Foothills Expressway, with full bike lanes all the way. Approximately 15 minute drive.

5 minute walk to the local diner (Tom's Depot). Starbucks, Trader Joe's, a fresh vegetable market, Andronicos, Lucky, and Safeway Supermarkets all within 1-2 miles. A little over one mile to the entrance to Rancho San Antonio county park, with miles of hiking in the Santa Cruz mountains.
