Locally is Cafe Barrone, which is a European style coffee house that has spacious outdoor seating and Kepler's Bookstore (One of the last great Independent Bookstores). It's a 15-20 minute walk to Stanford Mall or Downtown Palo Alto. Previous roommates who worked at Stanford said it takes 7 minutes to get to work by car.

If you have found that renting a premium apartment would be ideal but can't find a place nice enough or in a town you want to live in this might be perfect for you as the area doesn't have a lot of modern inventory. It's quiet, serene, relaxing and perfect for those who enjoy truly luxurious living but also close enough to downtown Menlo Park and Palo Alto to give you access to the best the Peninsula has to offer.

• A clean, respectful and positive minded person with a steady income and a great credit score. (There are some exceptions for students or foreign visitors)
• A person who appreciates living in a comfortable and relaxing environment without the background noise of sports or political news.
• Someone who appreciates keeping the house tidy

You must not be:

• Looking for a party house or a hangout for friends. Shhh, this is a quiet zone, to come home to.
• Someone who has pets. Pets aren’t allowed. Sorry, no pets. Not an option.
• Someone who uses illicit drugs, a smoker or heavy drinker.
