We have a bedroom available in a 3 bed/ 2 bath house in Palo Alto's Barron Park neighborhood. The move-in date is as early as September 25th.
The house is spacious, fully furnished, has a nice patio (with BBQ grill), a vegetable garden and a garage. We are a 2–3 mile bike ride away from Stanford, and only a few minutes by bike from Stanford VA.
The room has hardwood floors, built-in shelves and cabinets and a spacious closet. The room will come unfurnished. The bathroom is shared with one female housemate.
Your housemates would be 2 Stanford affiliates (postdoc and medical researcher) and a professional, as well as one friendly indoor-outdoor cat (sorry, no other pets allowed by the landlord). We're looking for another Stanford postdoc or graduate student who is considerate, friendly and clean.
The rent is $1400 + ~$75 for utilities. First month's rent + $1200 deposit will be required at the time of signing the lease. 1 year commitment preferred, but we can discuss the possibility of a 6 month lease.
