My roommate recently got office space in SF and so has decided to move to Oakland to make her commute easier. So, I’m looking for someone to fill her spot in my 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in Redwood City.

Rent: $1400/month plus utilities (~$75 - 100/month)
Available: November 15th, but the move-in date is flexible (also, fyi: it's currently a month-to-month lease)
Room details: The room will be unfurnished because my roommate is bringing her stuff with her to Oakland. It's got great closet space, and, while small, has enough room for a bed, dresser and desk.
Apartment details: 3rd floor with a balcony that has a beautiful view. It’s small (~650 sq ft), but my roommate and I have found it to be very comfortable. The apartment complex has a laundry room and a pool. No gym, but the local YMCA is a 7-minute walk away and is a great facility.
Location: Right off Woodside in RWC. 1.5 miles to Caltrain/downtown. Literally next door to Starbucks and Safeway.
Me: I work at a big tech company and also teach part-time at Stanford. I keep myself fairly busy, but this apartment makes a great homebase.
