Our roommate is moving for work, so we have an open room in our 3BR apartment starting November 1 or possibly as early as October 25. We are looking for a long-term roommate to join the existing lease. The apartment is a 2-story townhouse just a few blocks from downtown and University Ave. The bedroom is 11ft x 10ft and shares a bathroom with one other person.

Apartment amenities:

• Laundry in the apartment
• Fully-stocked large kitchen with dishwasher
• Spacious open living/dining room with a hardwood floor.
• Small secluded deck with chairs
• Large private garage underneath the apartment, with laundry and plenty of storage space.
• The complex (8 units) has a quiet pool surrounded by deck chairs
• Common areas are generally furnished, but the bedroom is not. There is space if you want to bring your own common furniture.
• No pets are allowed, per the landlord.

About the roommates:

• Julianne works at Stanford and loves baking, coffee and all things New England.
• Rob is a geologist PhD from the Midwest, likes earthquakes, computer games, and pick-up sports.
• We are pretty quiet around the house and work a typical Mon-Fri schedule.

We are looking for a female or male roommate who is:

• Exceptionally clean and tidy. Keeps the kitchen clean and minimizes clutter in shared spaces.
• Responsible and financially stable
• Looking for a comfortable and well-kept home
• Not a heavy drinker and not a smoker
