Hello!

Our dear housemate will be moving to SF and we will have a spacious, unfurnished room with its own recently renovated bathroom, shower and walk in closet on the first floor coming available on January 15th. The room is for single person occupancy only.

The house:
Our house is located on Menalto Avenue at the corner of Elm Street, within a 20-minute bike ride to Stanford and a 10-minute bike ride to the restaurants on University Avenue. The 101 freeway can be reached by car in minutes. The house is a four bedroom unit and the available room is on the first floor, facing away from the street.

All utilities including trash, electricity, water, gas and wireless Internet are included in the rent. You will also have access to free laundry facilities and off-street parking in the driveway. A complimentary monthly cleaning service has also been added by our landlord.

The neighborhood:
The Willows neighborhood is well patrolled and is very safe and pleasant for afternoon walks. A Mexican grocery store and a neat café (Zoe's) are a five minute walk away.

We are:

Kevin: Hails from Virginia and is an Engineer at a medical device company in Menlo Park.

Yoshi: former Engineer at Xerox, looking for the next opportunity.

Our third roommate living in one of the upstairs room will also be moving out shortly and a roommate search is currently underway.

We are a relaxed, considerate, easy-going bunch that likes to go out for occasional drinks together and shoot the breeze in the kitchen but have our own lives. We've managed to create a household that is drama-free, respectful and considerate of one another and look forward to maintaining this culture with you. One of our long-running house activities is baking pizza from raw dough and selecting our favorite toppings to put on them.

We like to take advantage of our tree-filled backyard for the occasional weekend barbeque, which we hope you'd also join in the coming months.
