My current roommate is leaving for a new job in Washington, D.C. next month, and I am looking to fill her large bedroom beginning May 1, 2018.
About the apartment:
• Total square footage of the 2bd/1ba apartment: 850 sqft
• Your room: 10’ x 15.5’
• Month-to-month lease, but would prefer someone who plans to stay at least 1 year
• A free assigned parking spot
• Rooftop patio
• Laundry on-site (right outside of the apartment)
• Furnished living spaces (would only need to furnish the bedroom) – but would be open to consolidating if you are
bringing furniture as well.
• Tile and hardwood floors throughout
• TONS of closet space – very rare for apartments in this area.
• Utilities are not included in the rent, but typically run $60-$80 per person (depending on the month).
• Located in a no smoking complex
• The apartment is dog friendly, with a popular dog park conveniently located on our block.
• Pet fee: $30 (no pet deposit)
Location: The apartment is conveniently located near Stanford’s campus and downtown Menlo Park.
• Two blocks from the Menlo Park Safeway
• Three blocks from Trader Joes and CVS
• Approximately a half-mile walk to Menlo Park Caltrain
• Short bike ride to Stanford’s campus - I personally bike to Stanford’s campus everyday (13-15 minute bike ride)
About me: I am a 30-year-old female postdoc at Stanford. In my free time, I am an avid runner and enjoy biking, yoga, hiking, spending time with friends, cooking, and meeting new people. I am a clean, well-organized, pleasant, and easy-going person who, while enjoys going out with friends, rarely brings the party home.
Looking for: I am looking for a young professional or postdoc, preferably female, who is clean, considerate and friendly. If you are the type of person who enjoys having a relaxing place to come home to after work, look no further. My current roommate and I would have Bachelor Mondays/ TGIT + wine nights, and were even gym buddies while New Year (January) resolutions were a thing.
