We are selling our 1998 Honda Civic LX with 168, 297 miles. This car runs very well, has a new battery, new spark plugs, and recently done brakes and tires. The air conditioner works well. It has been a reliable second car for us for years and has a lot of life left in it. Over the last 4 years, we have only put 35,000 miles on it.

There are quite a few dings and scratches on the outside, including a substantial dent in the driver's side front (visible in the picture), which have accumulated over the years, but the vehicle has not been in an any accidents since I purchased it in 2011 from a close friend, and has only had one minor fender bender since 2004 when he purchased it.

The reason the price is far lower than it otherwise would be for a car that drives this well is that it requires a new catalytic converter to pass its smog (due in September). We have the detailed report from the mechanic highlighting this single issue. Since we are going to be moving out of state relatively soon, we'd rather sell it now. It's a perfect car for someone who works on cars and can do the work cheaply, or for someone who wants a reliable car with some solid years left in it.
