My friend and I are looking to one housemate to sign a one-year lease for a house near San Antonio Shopping Center, on the boarder of Palo Alto.

The house has spacious living room area and a huge kitchen. Washer and dryer are also in unit. It also has an indoor garage so no need to worry about finding street parking. Everything looks pretty new and the house itself has recently been painted and cleaned. The neighborhood is extremely nice and safe, with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi right in front of house. The Caltrain station is literally right across from the house but train passing by does not make noticeable noise. San Antonio Shopping Center has Walmart, Wholefoods, Trader Joe's, Safeway, a new cinema opening early 2018, and tons of good restaurants nearby. You can get to Stanford by Caltrain or bike for around 25min (5mile).

The room locates in the basement level of the house. It has two windows so the sunlight goes into the room. It comes with its own bathroom AND private entrance from the garage. The rent is 1495 per month plus garbage, water, electricity, and internet, and the preferred move-in date is around 9/23. This room has similar size as the master bedroom, a large closet, and as much privacy as you want.

My friend work at a venture capital firm in downtown Palo Alto and I work as a Research Assistant as Stanford. We both work a lot, barely cook, clean and quiet. We like having friends over sometimes and talking to each other about our life. Basically, we want to share the house with a nice and kind person. Additionally, the house is unfurnished so it would be nice if you are willing to make it homey with us.
