My roommate is currently away and he'll come back on Jan 5.
The unit has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. Please see the attached photos of your bedroom. (They are taken from the four corners of your room.)
Some information about this apartment complex:
- Address is 1984 Latham St, Mountain View, CA 94040. Please check Google Map to see the surrounding.
- There is a swimming pool. I don't think now is a good time to use it though. (It is not heated.)
- The shared laundry room is on the first floor. It closes at 10pm. Washing costs $1.50 per batch. Drying costs $1.50 per batch.
- This is a quiet neighborhood. 9pm is probably the tacitly agreed upon quiet time.
- No smoking is allowed in the building.
Some information about this unit:
- It is located on the second floor.
- There is a parking space in the front, but it may be full at times (though very rarely). In that case, you have to park on the street.
What we have in the living room:
- There is a couch with some throw pillows in front of a 32" TV.
- Connected to the TV is a DVR box, which is connected to a cable modem, which is connected to a WiFi router. Yes, we do have internet connection and local TV channels. (Internet connection might be unstable at times. I'm trying to fix that. Blame Comcast for now.)
- A Blu-ray player inside a desktop computer.
- There is a dedicated workout area with workout equipment behind the couch.
- There's a keyboard (musical, not computer) that I borrow from the landlady.
What we have in the kitchen:
- A sink, a stove (with an exhaust hood), a oven, a small toaster oven, a microwave oven, and a dishwasher.
- Quite a lot of cooking gadgets that I've gathered over time from friends who used to live around here.
- A lot of dry food. Feel free to consume anything you see. (You might want to check the expiration date first.)
What we have in the bathroom:
- Mostly standard stuff. (Toilet paper is in the drawer below the sink.)
Some information about me:
- A Stanford student hoping to graduate this year.
- I think I'm pretty friendly, but I can't really say that for myself.
- My work/sleep schedule is unusual, and it might change. Currently I go to bed around 5-6am and wake up around 1-2pm. We might not get to see each other much if you are on a regular schedule...
I'm asking for $250/week. This already includes the rent, water, gas, electricity and internet. I will calculate the price according to your move in date. I will also need a flat-rate $450 deposit.
Let me know if you have any questions, or if you want to come and see the place.
