Situated in a friendly apartment complex made up of families and working professionals. Easy access to bus routes, bike paths, and 1.5 miles from Menlo Park Caltrain station. 10-15min drive to Stanford. The apartment has 2 on-site parking spaces, and there is ample street parking, if needed, with purchase of a 1yr permit. Coin-operated laundry on site. Private pool in back of building. Landlord is very responsive and complex is well-maintained.
Lease is month-to-month, but preference will be given to more long-term lessors. Original lease was started in 2013. Space will be shared with two respectful males age 24 and 33yrs. Bathroom is shared with one of these guys. We do have a cat living here now, but she will be moving out.
Rent is $953/mo (last rent increase was in August 2018) plus utilities, which are internet/tv and PG&E. As a unit, we currently pay ~$75/mo for internet, and PG&E bills can range between $0-$140/mo depending on the season. We have an in-unit thermostat with heating/AC. Kitchen has basic features and a dishwasher.
The room itself will be unfurnished. It comfortably fits a full-size bed with a desk, dresser and additional shelving. It has a ceiling fan and a sliding door closet. There are also 3 hallway closets for additional storage. There are two windows in the room, which provide good ventilation and sunlight during the day.
