My housemate and I are looking to one housemate, preferably female, to sign a one-year lease for our house near San Antonio Shopping Center, on the boarder of Palo Alto.
The house has spacious living room areas and a huge kitchen. Washer and dryer are in unit. It also has an indoor garage so no need to worry about finding street parking. Everything looks pretty new and the house itself has just been painted one year ago. The neighborhood is extremely nice and safe, with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi in front of house. The Caltrain station is literally right across from the house but trains passing by does not make noticeable noise. San Antonio Shopping Center has Walmart, Wholefoods, Trader Joe's, Safeway, Mike Pail Market and tons of good restaurants nearby. You can get to Stanford by Caltrain or bike in around 25min (5 miles).
The room locates in the basement level of the house. Half of the room is above ground and it has two windows so there is sunlight going into the room. It comes with its own bathroom AND private entrance from the garage. The rent is 1535 per month plus garbage, water, electricity, and internet, and the move-in date is around 10/1. This room has similar size as the master bedroom, a large closet, and as much privacy as you want.
My housemate work at a medical device firm in Palo Alto and I work as a Research Assistant as Stanford. We both are super friendly, clean and quiet. We like having friends over sometimes and hanging out together. Ideal housemate would be someone who is clean, takes the trash out, and shares household chores regularly. Additionally, the room is unfurnished.
