About the house:
2BR/1.5BA, 988 sq ft house, a few blocks from both Stanford and downtown Palo Alto. It was built in the early 1900s and has been beautifully renovated. All kinds of charm, original hardwood floors, an updated kitchen with lots of space, washer/dryer in the house, and a cute backyard with a grill, patio furniture, and raised beds for gardening. The full bathroom is shared by the two bedrooms for showering, but there is an additional half bathroom. On-street parking. Some storage available in the detached garage. Two blocks from Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, five blocks to University Ave and Caltrain station. Your bedroom is currently furnished (with full-sized bed, desk, chair, and dresser w/mirror), but we can put this furniture in storage if you prefer to use your own.

About us:
We are a fun and social married couple that loves cooking, hosting, good beer, meeting new people, hiking, and biking. I am a business school student at Stanford and my wife works full time in EdTech. We are both 30, so while we enjoy being social, we are more into the dinner-party-and-game-night life stage rather than the keg-stands and crazy-parties-on-a-tuesday life stage. We are non-smokers and would like to only live with another non-smoker. We like to keep the house clean and clutter-free and expect for you to do the same. No drugs, please.

What we have in the house to share:

• Sofa, large TV, and coffee table for living room. Room for some of your own furniture in the living room if you have it.
• We don't subscribe to cable, but will have all the basic stations plus Apple TV connected to our huluplus and netflix accounts for all to use. If you want to pay for cable, you can.
• Kitchen stuff to share, but room for some of your kitchen stuff, too, if you have it.
• Grill/BBQ for the backyard
• Patio furniture & outdoor fire pit
• Hammock
• Full use of the kitchen and house
• One indoor cat who is very friendly and rather entertaining. There are no wall-to-wall carpets in the house and we are very good about sweeping up her fur and cleaning her litter box very frequently. My wife is actually somewhat allergic to cats, but with the hardwood floors and with how much we clean after her, it's not really a problem.
