We are two Stanford alums and a Stanford postdoc renting a 4 bedroom 3.5 bathroom house in Mountain View. The house is brand new (as in built 2015/16 brand new), features modern amenities, a large kitchen with island, and washer/dryer in unit. The unit also has solar which helps to keep the utilities low.

The rent for a private room with shared bathroom (you + 1 person) is $1225 + utilities, for a private room with private bathroom $1350 + utilities.

The house is located next to Sierra Vista Park, about 25 minutes biking and 14 minutes driving from Stanford. Castro Street in and the San Antonio Shopping Center are both about 12 minutes by bike.
