We are selling our beloved Klepper Aerius 2 Kayak (affectionally known as Mathilda). We got this boat 8 years back and have loved it, but now it is time for a new home/owner. It is a two person kayak with rudder steering (you can learn more here https://www.klepperamerica.com/doubles-545/?customize_changeset_uuid=). We replaced the original canvas skin with a new Hypalon skin 5 years back and upgraded a few parts (especially the seat backs!) at the time. This boat packs into 3 canvas bags and we will include a bilge pump, paddles and other niceties. The boat was originally made in West Germany, so it has a few years on it, but she is in really good shape and we have taken her out in the Pacific and the Gulf of Alaska. We also upgraded with the addition of a spray skirt, this makes for comfortable, dry paddling. There are a few patches on the hull (see pictures) and the paddle tip has been reapplied with marine epoxy, otherwise all is ship shape. Be in touch with questions or for more pictures.
