$2,750
I am reluctantly selling my 2000 Audi A4 Quattro. I've had the car for over four years and used it in/around campus. I bought the car from a Stanford student in 2010 and have only had it serviced at Mechanica (automotive shop) in Palo Alto. I just bought a newer used Audi to upgrade a bit.
Quick details:
-Extremely clean inside
-Minor outside wear for a 15-year car
-All electronics work, except for a part of the dash display, which is a common thing to go out after many years.
-Mileage: 151,000
The fine print, in the interest of full disclosure:
-I purchased the car when it already had a salvage title. The owner from whom I bought the car was rear-ended and the car needed repairs to restore the car to operational levels. She drove the car after it was fixed, but because the car needed repairs worth a % of the value, it has a salvaged title.
-I have all service records since I've owned the car.
Pricing:
According to Kelly Blue Book, I gave this car a "Good" rating, which generated $3,370. Typically, Audis fetch a bit more than KBB, but given the age and salvage, I'm selling it for $2,750 firm. I am happy to introduce any serious buyers to my mechanic.
