I am looking for someone to sublet my 1BR apartment from the beginning of November, for one and half month. The apartment is in Palo Alto, Ventura Avenue, 15 mins cycle from Stanford. Interested peoples can have a look.
Ideally I'd like someone in there from Wednesday 2nd November, 2011, and I'd want them to stay until 13th December, 2011. I could vacate it 2nd November morning. I was thinking this would be a good option for a starting postdoc or job for the first few weeks while they search for their own apartment, It makes for a pretty reasonable option for a 5-6 week academic visitor too - much cheaper and more comfortable than a hotel. In fact, if you could pass this on to your local admin then both they and I would be grateful! :-)
Let me know if you're interested, or if you know someone who might be. For the whole duration the rent would be $2000 including utility and high speed internet - I'd like to find someone to take it till 13th December. Please do not email those need shorter than this period.
