$1,500
Hey y'all --
David here.
I rode it during my undergrad years at Stanford from 2012-2013 and am too lazy to fix some of the things now that I've graduated -- thus the low price. I've rode it even with the broken things below, but I don't advise it. I'm a great rider, never dropped it before -- came close but didn't.
Anyways, it's currently located right off of University Ave. Pictures attached.

If you're looking to buy a 250 Kawasaki Ninja, then you already know all the benefits.
So, I'll just go straight to what needs to be fixed.
I'm not trying to sugarcoat anything; that's just a waste of everyone's time.
What I want: to sell this bike.
What you want: 1) find a trustworthy seller and 2) at the lowest price possible.
So, here are the small things that need to be fixed.
Everything else is working safely (engine, front brake, lights, compartment lock, clutch, gears, etc).
odometer stopped working
(need to check original transfer to find if the mileage is accurate or completely bonkers)
speedometer stopped working
($35 for parts, and easy DIY, more info below)
back license plate area cracked (pic included)
(I have a new license plate that I'll give you)
back brake cable is loose
(apparently easily fixable based on what online motorcycle enthusiasts say; my hands/fingers are too big, and I don't have the patience to fix it).
(the front brake is the important one; but nonetheless, I still rode on it; now looking back, it's already a risk to ride a bike -- I just gave myself unnecessarily more risk).
the side fenders are cracked, bought from previous owner like this (pics included)
I've tried to be as transparent as possible in both my words and pictures.
Bike is located in Palo Alto -- you'll have to come to my bike.
What's included:
----- I did some information research for you if you're new ------
to replace the speedometer cable (~$35 for parts & apparently super easy to DIY, according to these motorcycle enthusiasts) link: http://www.motorcycletouringpro.com/how-to-replace-repair-motorcycles-speedometer-cable/
odometer can be wound by by a legally certified shop to the approx. miles (hopefully the mileage is listed on my original transfer sheet, that's inside my bike compartment).
Price is non-negotiable.
I don't really enjoy negotiating, so I just put it at a really fair price.
When you send a request, send your LinkedIn and/or Facebook to confirm that you're a "real" person and are serious.
If you have any questions, include them in your request.
I'll do my best to answer all of them to help you make your decision.
If you're asking to meet up in person, then I expect you to be a serious buyer;
you're just checking out if I represented everything accurately to the best of my knowledge, and that I'm cool.
Both which I believe are true.
With gratitude,
David
