I am a stanford grad and have used my Civic over the last few years with no problems. I have spent $0 on maintenance outside of oil changes completed every half year. I bought it used after doing an extensive used car inspection check (I have the report and the carfax). I have used it for 10-20 mile round trips from work/school. It's in great condition.
