2013 Nissan Rogue SV AWD — $5,500, priced to sell asap. Negotiable.

156k miles. Red body, grey interiors, clean title, non-smoker.

Selling because we’ve moved off campus and are downsizing to one car.

This has been a lovely and reliable adventure car. The AWD has been excellent on trips to Tahoe in blizzard conditions, and it’s handled mountainous dirt-roads in Big Sur and desert roads in Joshua Tree really well. Spacious and perfect for car camping. Solid 26+ MPG on road trips, 23–24 around Palo Alto.

We’ve maintained it well — it has a file with a stellar and affordable Mountain View mechanic who specializes in Nissans (happy to share the contact). AC was completely replaced two years ago. It was a rental about 3 years ago, which honestly is an upside: regular, well-recorded maintenance.

Before handover we’ll get it serviced, smog-checked, and cleaned.

Some important downsides, all priced in:

• This model is known for CVT problems. Ours is still doing well, but there’s a very light whirring at higher speeds, as you’d expect from an older CVT. Well-maintained ones last and this one has been.
• Rear left door lock actuator is faulty, so that door doesn’t lock/unlock automatically
• Small rock chip on the windshield and some slight scruffs/scratches.
• Some interior scruffs and water stains
• Only one remote key + one spare manual key
• No CarPlay, but there’s a perfectly functional Bluetooth add-on

Comes with ski racks, snow chains, and a dash cam.
