In 2014 the car was losing oil and the short engine block was replaced under warranty by Carlsen Subaru in RWC. Since then, the car has not been losing any oil and never needs to be topped off as it did prior to replacing the short engine block. We do have a labrador retriever that we take up to Tahoe whenever we go. If you (or someone in your family) are allergic to dogs, this car is probably not the right car for you.
