That would normally be about $600 of flights, which you get for $99. So if you are going to be flying anyways, this is a great deal, especially since Southwest doesn't have blackouts on any flights. You can use these points for any seat on any Southwest flight. And if you don't want the card after the first year, you can cancel it to avoid paying the $99 fee again, so it really is just a $99 for 50,000 miles deal (this is what I did).
