The Situation

One of our roommates is moving in with his girl friend on November 1th. So we're looking for someone to move into his room any time after that.

The Location

It's a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house in a nice, quiet neighborhood in Mountain View. Walking distance to two parks, and close enough to downtown Castro street to walk to, but not so close that people are stealing our parking spots all the time.

The Bedroom

The bedroom has a closet and is approximately 150 sq feet. The current roommate has a Queen size bed, a desk, a chair and bookshelf fit in this room comfortably. It also has 2 windows facing south and west. All furniture is 2 to 3 year old, and can be sold to the new roommate if desired.

The House

As for the rest of the house, we have 2 other rooms next to the Bedroom that are similar. And we all share one bathroom. We have another large bedroom on the other side of the living room and has its own private bathroom. We have a large living room that is mostly empty because none of us have any furniture. We have a dining room table and chairs that came with the house and a couch. We have a large kitchen with a full size washer/dryer, nice backyard w/ patio, front and side yard, and a covered storage area. We have gardeners that come over weekly to take care of all the yard work. We also have free internet from one roommate’ work, no cable TV. We split other utilities like power, water, trash, etc. It ends up being about $50-$75/person per month.

About Us

As for roommates, we currently have a 33 male, a 25 female, and a 22 female. The 33m works at tech company here in Mtn View, the 25f works at tech company in San Bruno and the 22f works at startup in Palo Alto. We are fun but respectful of everyone's space. The 33m has a gf who comes over sometimes but usually stays in his room. The 25f likes to paint and play soccer. The 22f likes to sing and dance. We don't have to be best friends, but it would be nice to come home and catch up with each other occasionally. Also, If you'd like to hang out, we like to go out sometimes on the weekends and you'd be welcome to join us. But if you just want to do your own thing that's fine too.

About You

As for who we're looking for, ideally you'd be in your 20s or early 30s, student or young professional, male or female, fun, responsible, easy to get along with, and looking for a place for more than 8 months. Would prefer someone who doesn't smoke, doesn't drink heavily or do drugs, doesn't want to throw parties or large gathering at the house. Also no pets allowed.
