$825
One unfurnished bedroom will be available in a 3 bedroom house around April 13. Bathroom is shared with one roommate. Full access to kitchen and living room, washer and dryer, and a garage for storage. The bedroom is small but it can fit a standard bedroom set. We just started a vegetable garden in the backyard and would like to get a bbq. We'll start month-to-month and if everything is awesome we'll make a longer lease. To move in you'll need first month's rent (pro-rated since move-in is halfway through the month $412.50) plus a month's worth for a security deposit ($825) totaling $1237.50. Also, since we don't know you, we will ask for a $20 fee for a background check. We won't do it until we all mutually agree to live together and will provide you with a copy.
We are two women in our late 20's-early 30's. Both work full time. We are pretty tidy and really good at picking up after ourselves. We enjoy watching tv together, getting dinner or cooking together, but we also like our alone time. We'll have occasional friends over but no wild parties. We would like to have a few fun bbq shindigs once we get all that stuff :) I work at Stanford in facilities and maintenance. In my free time I like to jog and hike and I'm trying to get back into art and music. My roommate is a lawyer who likes to cook, do DIY projects, watch crappy tv (her words), and is a news junkie. There is one old small dog (17 year old miniature schnauzer). Sorry, only the one dog is allowed.
What we're looking for:
Long term roommate
Someone who likes dogs
A roommate that is tidy with common areas. A few dishes out here and there are fine but we will get annoyed if there is no counter space or if there are no clean dishes left. Even though we clean frequently we will not do your dishes.
Someone who likes hanging out watching movies or netflix shows, comfortable with casual conversation and those quiet moments
No drugs (sorry not even weed)
Overnight guests are fine as long as they're respectful and we're informed
In general someone friendly and familiar with common courtesy
If this sounds like what you're looking for in house mates email and tell us about yourself. Looking forward to hearing from you!
