Sadly, my awesome roommate is heading to law school and I need a new, amazing woman with whom I can share my pretty, top-floor apartment in the heart of the Richmond district in San Francisco.
The Details: The apartment was remodeled just a couple years ago and has hardwood floors, lots of sun (when it??????s not foggy in SF...), a great view, and shared kitchen, bathroom and living room spaces plus plenty of closet space. It's located at Geary and 15th Ave. (near Park Presidio), so there is easy access to bus lines (38/38L/38bx and 28/28L are a block away; easy to walk to the 1, 31) and amazingly manageable street parking. Easy commute to USF, SF State, or UCSF. Lots of cheap, yummy restaurants and convenient neighborhood stores in the area plus an easy walk to Golden Gate Park and to the Presidio. Your room is a very nice size -- approximately 10 by 13 with a bay window.
The apartment is mostly furnished although I'm happy to make room for your stuff. I can provide a full size bed for your room if you would like it.
About Me: I??????m in my 20s, female, and work for a nonprofit in SOMA from 9 ??????? 5:30. I enjoy relaxing with TV (equal parts trashy and quality), reading The Economist, listening to NPR, and cooking/baking. On the weekend, I like exploring the city with friends and going out to dinner or the theater.
About You: A woman that is responsible, interesting, clean and doesn't bring the party home. No pets and no smoking.
The $$ stuff: Rent is $925 a month plus about $40 a month for high-speed, wireless internet and PG&E; water and garbage are included. Coin-operated laundry in the building. Security deposit is $1225. Room will be available in late July; looking to fill room by August 1. Lease is month-to-month, but I'd prefer someone who can stay a year.
If you're interested, send me an email telling me a little bit about you and times you might be available to see the apartment.
