My friend and I are searching for a new housemate over the summer. The house is a 2 bedroom duplex on Alma St. near the intersection with Churchill Ave. Stanford and downtown Palo Alto are both less than a mile away. The duplex has one full bathroom and one half bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and a small patio. We all share the common spaces and furnishings, and therefore keep a regular cleaning schedule.

Your roommates will be Stanford graduates in the engineering and computer science departments. Typically the house is empty during the week as both of us study and research on campus. But we are often around in the evenings to relax and hang out. The neighborhood is very nice and generally quiet.

The room can be made available to couples or may be shared with an additional roommate. The full cost of the room is $1850, and is also available for those who wish to rent as a private room. Of course, for those who would like to share the room, the price will be split at $925 each. You will have the option to move out after the summer, or stay for the remainder of the academic year.
