This is a a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment for $950/month + utilities (approx $80 each for internet, electric, water, trash, heating) located on Ortega Ave and California in Mountain View. I'm looking for someone to move in sometime in mid-early September. It's available starting September 8th. Lease goes until 5/31/13. I'm looking for someone who can stay the entire time. We could renew the lease if it works out well.

The name of the apartment is The Arbors at Mountain View and is located in a very safe area with a playground and Klein park just across the street, which is great for walking or running. Rengstorff park is located a block away too. The Stanford shuttle stops right at the apartment complex corner. And you don't have to be a Stanford affiliate to ride it. There are also 2 bus stops around the complex, running every 1/2 hour, one on each end of the complex :) The complex is about 1000 feet from Target and Walmart, so it's pretty convenient. Though there's unassigned apartment parking and street parking, the street is almost completely open, and it's only about a 100 feet away. Community coin washer/dryer. Has an apartment community pool and gym.

The apartment has an electric stove, has separate heating for the temperature you want in the room you're in which saves on energy, and is on the 2nd (top) floor so you don't get any racket from upstairs. The room is 12x12, carpeted, and has 2 closets. You would also have your own bathroom :) Room comes unfurnished but I could pull some strings if for a twin bed if needed. You just provide the transport. If you have a dining table or couch, you're welcomed to bring them!

I'm a non-smoking Vietnamese female in my early 20's working as a clinical research coordinator at Stanford and am applying for medical school next year. So I work a lot and enjoy my nerdy side, but I also like to get out, too. I'm on a competitive salsa team in Alameda and hit tennis on the side. I'm pretty outgoing and like to go out for cocktails and dance: blues, salsa, lindy hop, hip hop, you name it. I like cooking and would definitely be down for sharing a meal or two some time. You are welcomed to the kitchen, too. It's your home as well. I'm a beginner at speaking Vietnamese, but am pretty conversational in Spanish. So if you speak either Spanish and Vietnamese, that is definite a plus! But most importantly, everyone likes a nice drama-free place to come home to, so please be conscious and considerate. Keep the common areas clean and non-sticky. If it's 2 am on a weeknight, let's not blast the music.

I'm looking for a non-smoking female/male who cleans up after himself/herself and will help out in cleaning the community area (living room, kitchen, and dining area) to maintain our cozy apartment. You must pay rent on time (due the 1st of every month). They hold my check until yours is in. Ideally you'd have no pets. Single tenants are ideal but double tenants are cool too. If double tenants in the room, then utilities would be split by 3. Alcohol isn't a problem, just clean up after yourself and wipe down the area when you're done. Same with cooking. Simple as that! Also because most of the apartment is carpeted, I ask that you take off your shoes in our future home.
