Hello,
We are leasing a 3 bedroom apartment blocks from University Avenue downtown and have a room available. We are looking to create a fun filled home environment where the room mates hang out and have fun together.
About the place:
2Bed/2 Bath converted in to a 3 Bed/2 Bath. Walking distance to downtown Palo Alto and Caltrain. Complex has a pool and laundry facilities. The place is unfurnished so hopefully you can contribute to getting furniture for the place together. We will also be getting a monthly/biweekly cleaning service. The room available shares a bathroom with me. Another room that has a master bath might be available for a higher price but we can definitely talk about that if you are interested since the other room mate is flexible. 1 year lease starting May 1st. Move in date negotiable within a week or two timeframe. The building does not allow pets unfortunately.
Rent:
$950. Utilities and other expenses that go towards the whole house would be shared.
About us:
Priyanka: I graduated from Stanford undergrad in 2009 and now work at Google and have lived in Palo Alto for a bit. I like chilling with a glass of wine and watching a movie or show. Additionally, I like to go out on weekends and sometimes have people over. I take weekly Swing classes and love going dancing! Many of my days in the weekends are spent at Hackathons and the Hacker Dojo even though I am not technical! I guess it goes to say I like startups :)
Mohammad: I moved a month ago to the US from Palestine and started a Job at Google in Mountain View. I will be 25 in July. On weekends I like to go out and just chill out with friends in the city or so. I come from a really big family and I have 10 sisters and 2 brothers so I love living around people!
About you:
Someone chill and fun and responsible about dues. You would be sharing the bathroom with Priyanka and she is very clean about it so someone who is the same that way. We are looking to create a fun environment so not particularly great for someone looking for a crash pad. An interest in wine and cheese nights is a huge plus :)
If you are interested and this sounds like a good place to you, hit reply!
Thank you and happy house hunting.
Warmly,
Priyanka
