$975/mo, 10-15 minute bike ride to Stanford Main Quad

My current roommate is looking for a responsible female roommate to share a 2 bedroom
apartment for a year starting July 1. You get your own room. Shared bath, kitchen, and living room.

Location: Homer & Middlefield (near University Ave and Middlefield Road). Come out Palm Drive to the Palo Alto Caltrain, hang a right, then come up Homer Street. It's so close that I walk some days (20-25 minute walk). Easy 10-15 minute bike ride to Town & Country (Trader Joes, CVS, etc).

Commitment: Year-long lease starting July 1, 2014. Rent is $975/mo. Utilities are separate. $975 security deposit. Option to renew if you want to stay even longer.

Utilities: water, heating, internet, electricity, garbage are not included in rental.

Perks: garage for storage, fire place, nice plants, some space for gardening (tomatoes in progress), sunshine, attractive exterior with a stoop for sitting in the sun. Friendly neighbors. There's a park down the street, too.

Catch: Use a laundromat for laundry. Bedroom has unusual proportions (easily fits twin, tight fit for a full mattress). Bedroom is unfurnished. Not wheelchair accessible.

Why it's available: I came for a short-term stay, and I'm moving out to live with friends and move back on campus for the fall. It's a great place for location, price, and autonomy, and it's been a hard decision to give up the opportunity to stay. I highly recommend it for grad students or Stanford employees.
