Near transportation (public bus and palo alto city shuttles), 1.6 miles to Stanford (Marguerite shuttle will take you there), 1.5 miles to downtown and Cal train station (shuttle bus C or E will take you there). Plenty of street parking.

The rent is $480/month, if you would like to put in 10 hours per week (1-3 hours/day early evening weekdays) babysitting and some light house chores, but it is flexible depending on the interests of the person.
The rent is $800/month if 5 hours per week(1 hour/day) babysitting.
The rent is $1100/month if no work.
