Babysitter Needed ASAP

We are a faculty family living on campus looking for a Stanford affiliate who would like to take care of our kids for about 12 hours a week in exchange for free rent. Ideally, you'd be free from around 2 - 5:30pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, and occasionally for a few hours on weekends. You'd get to live for free in a furnished private room with private entrance and bathroom on our property, located just a few blocks from Munger and a few minutes' walk from Tressider Union on a beautiful and quiet street. You'd have a private small fridge and hotplate and/or microwave, and can share our large kitchen and washer/dryer when needed. · We have three kids: two boys (8 and 4 years old) and one girl (2 years old). Three afternoons a week (MWF), you'd be responsible for welcoming the 8yo home from school (he bikes back himself), getting both kids up from their naps, making a snack, and taking the kids out to their karate lessons or for a playground excursion. You'd also be welcome join us for dinner a few nights a week if you'd like, sharing cooking and dishwashing duty. · Details: live rent-free on campus with private room, private entrance, and private bathroom. take care of 3 kids ages 2yo, 4yo, and 8yo for about 12 hours per week optionally join family dinners January 2027 (or a bit earlier) through at least end of spring quarter 2027 (longer is better) · Couples are also ok if one of you is primary; but we'd need to interview both. (Also note the room is quite small!) · If you're interested, tell us about yourself: what's your role at Stanford? what's your experience with kids? would you be comfortable caring for three kids at a time? what would your ideal hours be? do you have constraints we should know about? what's your ideal start and end date? what's your favorite kid activity? if a four year old asked you, while walking along a residential street, "what's under the ground?", how would you respond? how hot is too hot for you to play outside? how cold is too cold? do you like splashing in puddles? name some blocks of time (8-9, 10:30-12:30 or 3:30-5:30 work best) on an upcoming weekend when you'd be free to meet.

We are a faculty family living on campus looking for someone to help us with cleaning and organizing our home in the evenings. The job is flexible, and we can work around your schedule, but we're looking for help after dinner (6:30pm or later) 3-5 days a week. Our home is a 2 minute bike ride from Tressider union. The job consists of loading the dishwasher, handwashing items that don't go in the dishwasher, cleaning surfaces and floors in the kitchen, taking out the trash, recycling, and compost, and loading kitchen rags into the washing machine. You should also expect to interact with our kids, who love to help, and may request you take a break to read them a book! The pay is $35/hr or $35/cleanup, whichever is larger. Based on previous students who've held this role, cleanup on a standard night takes about 35 minutes.
