Position Summary The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional on-course food and beverage service to golfers while delivering an outstanding guest experience. This position operates the beverage cart safely and professionally, prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, and other menu items, accurately processes transactions, and maintains compliance with all ABC regulations and KemperSports service standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guest Service Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to all guests. Build positive relationships with golfers through exceptional hospitality. Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service whenever possible. Promote daily specials and featured menu items. Beverage Cart Operations Safely operate the beverage cart throughout the golf course. Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks, snacks, and other food items. Verify identification and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with California ABC regulations. Maintain appropriate inventory levels throughout the shift. Restock products, ice, and supplies as needed. Keep the beverage cart clean, organized, and fully stocked. Cash Handling Accurately process cash and credit card transactions. Balance receipts and complete end-of-shift reporting. Maintain accountability for inventory and cash. Teamwork Communicate effectively with the restaurant, golf operations, and management teams. Assist with tournaments, outings, weddings, and special events as needed. Support fellow team members to ensure exceptional guest experiences. Safety & Compliance Follow all KemperSports policies and procedures. Comply with California ABC alcohol service regulations. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Safely operate the beverage cart and report maintenance concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous customer service, restaurant, hospitality, or beverage service experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality. Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to obtain and maintain California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and Food Handler Card. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and drive a beverage cart for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to bend, reach, and frequently stock products and supplies. Hi. I’m a faculty member who is a single parent to a newborn. I’m looking for a “parent helper” for a few hours a day for 2/3 days a week for the months of September and October. The job would be to help with laundry, dishwasher, light meal prep, taking trash out, watch baby if I need to shower etc. I live in faculty housing on Salvatierra street, about 5 mins walk from the law school. The specific times/days are pretty flexible so can work around your schedule, but with a slight preference for mornings (eg 7am-10am a couple of days a week). Pay is $30 an hour. I’m traveling for November and December so just looking for Sep/october for now but may need help again starting Jan when back. We are a faculty family living on campus looking for someone to help us with cleaning and organizing our home in the evenings. The job is flexible, and we can work around your schedule, but we're looking for help after dinner (6:30pm or later) 3-5 days a week. Our home is a 2 minute bike ride from Tressider union. The job consists of loading the dishwasher, handwashing items that don't go in the dishwasher, cleaning surfaces and floors in the kitchen, taking out the trash, recycling, and compost, and loading kitchen rags into the washing machine. You should also expect to interact with our kids, who love to help, and may request you take a break to read them a book! The pay is $35/hr or $35/cleanup, whichever is larger. Based on previous students who've held this role, cleanup on a standard night takes about 35 minutes.
