THE ROOM

$1450/mo. rent for a 10' x 11' bedroom (see photo) with new carpeting. The bedroom comes with a nightstand and desk (no bed), if desired. Rent includes electric, gas, water, garbage and ultra high-speed Internet. The bedroom comes with a large closet and built in shelving. You'll have access to the largest bathroom and garage for storage if needed.

THE HOUSE:

The house is over 2000 sq. ft. with wood flooring covered by rugs. All the bedrooms have new carpeting. There are two bathrooms in the house completely renovated with ceramic tile, new toilets, sinks and showers. We have a large central living room with a 75" HD TV home theater system for movie nights. The kitchen is also newly remodeled with ceramic tile flooring, solid quartz countertops, new cabinetry, dishwasher and built-in microwave. There is a high-end gas range and two refrigerators. The dining room seats 8-people. We have a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer. The backyard is very large with comfortable outdoor furniture. There’s plenty of parking in the driveway.

THE LOCATION:

The house is located 3/4 of a mile from the Menlo Park CalTrain station. Stanford’s Campus is a 20-minute walk and downtown Palo Alto is a 10-minute walk. Downtown Menlo Park is even closer with a bunch of coffee shops, restaurants and a Trader Joe’s all within easy walking distance. The house is located in a highly desirable, upscale, centrally located neighborhood in the heart of Silicon Valley.

HOUSEMATES:

There would be a total of five housemates including you. We currently have two Stanford post-doc research scientists, a doctoral candidate, a master’s student and a seasoned tech professional. Average age is slightly over 30. Due to the number of housemates, overnight guests are discouraged.

YOU:

We're looking for a respectful, tidy, male housemate (due to shared bathrooms). With five people living in the house, you must be the type to clean up after yourself; keeping all common areas clean (especially the kitchen and bathrooms) and free of personal clutter. You must be responsible to pay rent on time each month without exception. The house is a smoke-free and drug-free environment.

WHEN:

The bedroom is available on January 20th, 2020.
