Hello! My girlfriend and I are looking for someone interested in sharing this sunny 2BR condo with us.

We're in our twenties, work in tech nearby, nice people! I'm originally from the D.C. Maryland area and I work at a nearby startup. My girlfriend is a Berkeley grad working at Amazon and is the most easy to get along with. We work a fair amount but don't take ourselves seriously. On weeknights we cook, watch tv, occasionally hang out and chat. On weekends we normally clear out to my girlfriend's apartment in SF so you'll have the apartment all to yourself.

The condo is nice for this price point. It's located in the center of a quiet upscale condo complex with palm trees and a private swimming pool. Several young families are our neighbors. Our unit is located away from the noise and view of the road and driveway. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room let in a lot of light, the floors are hardwood, and we have a few lemon trees in the back. We also have a personal patio where we have a grill, but no patio furniture (something we'll address eventually).

We moved in 3 months ago. Before that, the condo owner renovated it. The kitchen has new countertops+stove, the bathroom has new sink+tile+shower, and the bedrooms have new carpets. Nice.

The location is great if you work or study nearby. We're across the street from a grocery store and few blocks away from a gym and Highway 101. My morning commute takes 8 minutes. The Google campus is 5 minutes away.

A few more things:

• Room is furnished, but we could un-furnish it for you
• The condo has a single shared bathroom, newly renovated. In practice we've found this works out fine. There's also 2nd bathroom 10 steps away at the pool building that's useful in a pinch.
• Pets OK
• Common areas are semi-furnished, something we're working on. Plan is to get a new couch and more chairs soon.
• Bedroom has a closet
• Nice 4k oled tv in the living room
• Kitchen is well-supplied
• Communal washer and dryers in the condo complex
• Some common desk space and monitor that we can share
• Plenty of on-premise parking
• Asking rent is $1800
