I moved away from the Bay area and am looking for someone to replace me on my lease immediately -- since I need a replacement ASAP, you'll be getting the room at an AMAZING rate!!

You will have great sized bedroom with a really nice sliding closet to yourself. The bathroom is shared with one roommate.

My favorite thing about living in this apartment was that the roommates are incredibly clean and respectful. They are both male google employees, and generally tend to keep to themselves. The complex is Avalon Mountain View, located at 1600 Villa St., Mountain View, CA 94041

Key apartment features:
· Private bedroom and shared bathroom (bedroom 3 and the bath on the right in the attached floor plan)
· Central AC (though we've never needed to use it...even in August, the apartment stays reasonably cool)
· Per-room heating
· In-unit laundry
· Dishwasher
· Assigned, covered parking space close to the apartment
· Porch/balcony to store bicycles and similar supplies
· Deep shelving units - useful for storing personal belongings and supplies
· Living room has an L-shaped couch, a 4K TV (with Chromecast Ultra), a table, and a lamp
· Complex has a pool, a workout room, community grills, and a small dog park

Local amenities:
· 12 minute drive from Stanford via El Camino or Alma
· 2.5 miles to the Googleplex (7-25 minute drive depending on traffic when you leave, 15-20 minute bike ride)
· Building next to the complex is a Google office (MTV CYD1) - a shuttle van can transport you from that office to and from the Googleplex
· Another building further down Villa St. (MTV CYD3 - "1240") is dedicated entirely to playing music. Other Googlers have donated pianos and drum sets in that space
· About 1/2 mile (10 minute walk) to restaurants on and around Castro St.
· About 3/4 mile (15 minute walk) to Mountain View CalTrain/VTA station, providing easy access to both San Francisco and San Jose
· About 1 mile (5 minute drive, 10 minute bike ride, or 20 minute walk) to the nearest Safeway, Whole Foods, Target and Walmart

Lease details
Upon moving in, you would provide Avalon with a $1,250 security deposit. Your combined monthly payment for rent and utilities would be about $1412.
There are no pets currently in the apartment, but you're welcome to bring one of your own if you want. Pet rent would add $65 to your monthly apartment bill.
Keep in mind that you’d be moving into an unfurnished bedroom/bathroom living space.

Move-in date
Immediately. Your first full month payment would be December. If you would like to move in during November, we can split the expenses based on your move-in date.
